World Cup 2026 Dallas Match Schedule + Getting There Guide

Dallas is hosting 9 matches in the FIFA World Cup 2026 — more than almost any other North American city. That includes group stage matches, knockout rounds, and a semifinal. If you're planning to attend any of them, this guide covers everything you need to know about the venue, how to get there, and how to make the day go smoothly.

The Venue: AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX

Every Dallas-area match will be played at AT&T Stadium, located in Arlington, Texas — roughly 20 miles west of downtown Dallas and 20 miles east of Fort Worth.

AT&T Stadium is one of the largest indoor stadiums in the world. Its capacity for football is approximately 80,000, with expansion seating configurations that can accommodate larger crowds. The stadium has hosted Super Bowls, the NBA Finals, WrestleMania, and numerous major concerts and events. It is a legitimate world-class venue and an appropriate setting for a World Cup semifinal.

Key Stadium Facts

  • Address: 1 AT&T Way, Arlington, TX 76011
  • Capacity: ~80,000 (standard configuration)
  • Roof: Retractable — can be open or closed depending on conditions
  • Surface: Grass (installed for World Cup)
  • Distance from Dallas: ~20 miles via I-30
  • Distance from Fort Worth: ~20 miles via I-30
  • Distance from DFW Airport: ~18 miles
  • Distance from Love Field: ~25 miles

AT&T Stadium Gates

The stadium has multiple entry points, each serving specific seating sections. Gates are located on all four sides of the building. The main pedestrian plazas are on the north and south sides. For most fans approaching from the designated fan zones or public transit drop-off areas, the south entrance along AT&T Way is the primary arrival corridor.

FIFA will publish specific gate assignments with match tickets. Your ticket will indicate which gate corresponds to your seating section. Do not assume you can use any gate — FIFA events enforce section-specific entry more strictly than typical NFL games.

The Matches: What Dallas Is Hosting

Dallas is confirmed to host 9 matches in FIFA World Cup 2026, including:

  • Multiple group stage matches (specific matchups TBA when draw is completed)
  • Round of 32 and Round of 16 knockout matches
  • A quarterfinal-level knockout match
  • One semifinal

Specific team matchups, kickoff times, and exact dates within the June 11 – July 19 tournament window have not been finalized as of publication. FIFA will release the full match schedule closer to the tournament. We will update this guide when the Dallas match schedule is confirmed.

What is confirmed: Dallas will be one of the most active host cities in the tournament, and the semifinal alone will draw an international audience and sell out immediately.

Getting to AT&T Stadium: All Your Options

This is where most fans make decisions they later regret. Let's go through every realistic option.

Option 1: Charter Bus (Best for Groups)

If you're traveling with a group of 8 or more people, a charter bus is the clearest, most cost-effective way to get to AT&T Stadium for a World Cup match.

We pick up your group at one location — your hotel, your neighborhood, a central meeting point — and drive directly to the stadium. You arrive together, on time, without fighting traffic or searching for parking. After the match, we're at a pre-arranged pickup point when you're ready to leave.

Our rates:

  • Charter bus (up to 56 passengers): $185/hour, 5-hour minimum
  • Sprinter van (up to 14 passengers): $135/hour, 4-hour minimum

For 30 people on a full match-day schedule (~8 hours), the per-person cost is around $49. That's less than most individual parking and rideshare costs for the same trip.

Option 2: Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

Rideshare works for individuals or very small groups (under 6 people) who are comfortable with surge pricing. During major events at AT&T Stadium, demand spikes dramatically, and base fares can multiply several times over.

The pickup and drop-off areas are designated by the stadium and can be a significant walk from the nearest gates. Post-game rideshare is the most chaotic moment of any major event — 80,000 people reaching for their phones simultaneously.

Realistic expectation: Budget significantly more than normal rideshare rates, and expect to wait 20–40 minutes for a post-game pickup.

Option 3: DART Rail + TRE Connection

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system connects to the Trinity Railway Express (TRE), which has a stop at the CentrePort/DFW Airport station. From there, a stadium shuttle connects to AT&T Stadium on event days.

This option works well for fans coming from central Dallas or who are staying near a DART station. It requires more planning than rideshare and involves transfers, but it avoids traffic entirely and costs significantly less.

Key consideration: TRE trains fill up quickly on game days. Arrive at your station early. The CentrePort connection to the stadium uses shuttle buses run by the stadium — those lines can be long.

Option 4: Personal Vehicle / Rental Car

Driving is viable if you leave early (3+ hours before kickoff) and have pre-purchased parking. Do not attempt to find parking day-of for a World Cup match. The 12,000-space capacity across all stadium lots against an expected crowd of 80,000 means overflow parking will be miles away.

Official parking reservations for World Cup matches at AT&T Stadium will be available through FIFA's designated ticketing partners. Prices for premium event parking at AT&T Stadium typically range from $35–$75 for official lots.

Our honest recommendation: If you're in a group of more than 4 people, the charter bus math is better. If you're solo or in a couple, DART/TRE or rideshare makes more sense than dealing with parking.

When to Arrive: A Timeline for Match Day

One of the most common mistakes at large FIFA events is underestimating how long everything takes. Here's a realistic timeline built around a standard evening kickoff:

| Time Before Kickoff | What You Should Be Doing | |---|---| | 3.5–4 hours | Depart from Dallas (allows for traffic) | | 3 hours | Arrive at stadium area — early lots open | | 2.5 hours | Clear security, enter the stadium | | 2 hours | Explore the concourse, find food and drinks | | 1 hour | In your seat, watching pre-match warmups | | 30 minutes | Pre-match ceremonies begin | | Kickoff | Match begins |

FIFA World Cup matches include extended pre-match ceremonies — national anthems, player introductions, cultural performances. If you want the full experience, be in your seat before the 30-minute mark.

Post-match, plan on 30–60 minutes before traffic around the stadium begins to ease. The fans who leave immediately after the final whistle and the fans who stay for 30 minutes are in very different traffic situations.

The Fan Experience in Arlington

The Entertainment District around AT&T Stadium has been developed significantly over the past decade. The Texas Live! entertainment complex, located immediately adjacent to the stadium, includes restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues that will likely host official or unofficial World Cup fan events.

For international visitors: The Dallas area has robust infrastructure for large international events. English and Spanish are both widely spoken in the stadium and surrounding area. Our drivers are bilingual, and we can accommodate groups arriving from outside the United States.

Weather: Dallas in June and July is hot. Temperatures regularly reach 95–100°F. AT&T Stadium's retractable roof and full air conditioning system are significant advantages for World Cup matches — the indoor environment makes the heat largely irrelevant once you're inside. The walk from your transportation to the stadium, however, is in the sun. Dress accordingly.

Food and drinks: AT&T Stadium has extensive concession options distributed throughout the concourse. Typical event prices apply. The fan zone in the Entertainment District will have additional dining options if you arrive early.

Traveling Between Dallas and Houston Matches

If your World Cup itinerary includes matches at both Dallas (AT&T Stadium) and Houston (NRG Stadium), you have a few options for the roughly 240-mile journey between cities.

Houston is hosting 8 matches at NRG Stadium, including a quarterfinal. Groups attending matches in both cities can book multi-leg transportation with us. We'll handle the logistics of getting your group from one city to the next so you can focus on the tournament.

AT&T Stadium is fully ADA compliant. Accessible seating and companion seating are available throughout the stadium. Accessible parking and drop-off areas are designated on the north side of the stadium.

If your group includes members who need accessible transportation, our charter buses can accommodate mobility equipment. Let us know when you request a quote.

Book Early: Why This Matters for World Cup

We've been operating in DFW since 2001. We've seen what happens to transportation availability before major events. World Cup 2026 is a once-in-a-generation event — the demand for every kind of transportation, accommodation, and service in the Dallas area is going to be exceptional.

Our fleet has 15 buses. We will be fully booked for key World Cup dates months in advance. If you're planning to attend any of the 9 Dallas matches — and especially the semifinal — your transportation should be one of the first things you book, not an afterthought the week before.

The later you wait, the fewer options you have and the higher the cost.
